Galison's London Town is an attractive blank book just right for toting along the Thames.
Native Londoner Sarah McMenemy has illustrated British icons including a bobby the London Bridge the Millenium Wheel a crown a Scottie Big Ben a double-decker bus a post box Westminster Abbey and the Union Jack for the covers. A bright red spine has the words London Town debossed in black and LONDON is debossed on the front cover too.

It may not be waterproof, but Galison's Out to Sea Classic Journal is an attractive blank book that would be great for anyone shipwrecked on a desert isle! The nautical blue cover shows illustrations by Debbie Powell of waves, golden fish, a red sailing vessel, a red anchor, and a Mark Twain's exhortation to "Dream, explore, discover." The back cover shows a spouting blue whale, seahorse, and compass. The bright red spine is labeled "journal". The grain embossed texture makes the journal a pleasure to hold and to use. In a pinch, the pages can be torn out, placed in a bottle, and thrown into the brine. But we hope that won't be necessary.

Galison worked with London's Victoria and Albert Museum to create this beautiful Kimono Classic Journal. The colorful chrysanthemums, camelias, and other flowers illustrated on a rich blue background are from a kimono fabric from a Japanese sample book, c. 1937, in the collection of the V&A. The book's decorative red spine reads "JOURNAL", and a Japanese proverb decorates the endpaper: "Experience the beauties of nature, and in doing so learn about yourself."

Galison's Vincent Sunflowers classic journal will bring sunshine to the cloudiest day. The pleasingly textured covers reproduce a bouquet of sunflowers in a ceramic jug from Vincent van Gogh's Sunflowers, an oil on canvas painting from 1888 or 1889 that is now in the Philadelphia Museum of Art. A Vincent van Gogh quotation runs along the spine: "I dream my painting and then I paint my dream." A lovely blue ribbon place marker pick echoes the painting's background color.

With decorative wheat-colored covers ornamented with debossed illustrations of old-fashioned skeleton keys and the label "journal", this is a great gift journal. The debossed ornamentation continues on the rose-colored spine, where a faux-label reminds us that "imagination is the key". Continuing with the key theme, the endpaper has a quotation by Oliver Wendell Holmes: "Love is the master key which opens the gates of happiness." Galison's Woodland Classic Journal is an attractive, quirky, Francophile blank book in which to record your thoughts, or, should we say, "pensées." The cream-colored front cover shows teal-colored silhouettes of a rabbit, labeled lapin, and a squirrel, écureuil, in loops of a leafy garland. The back cover shows an éléphant and a bird, oiseau. The animal images are repeated in a vertical pattern on the spine, with a faux label reading "VIVE L'AMOUR". Illustrations are by Eliza Jane Curtis for Morris + Essex.

Galison's Write to Remember Classic Journal is an attractive blank book in which to record, per the cover, "Thoughts, Stories, Reflections, Memories." With a teal cover ornamented in the style of fine old leather bindings, debossed words and decorative illustrations of a quill pen and jar of ink, and ribbon book mark, this journal brings to mind a world of fine old libraries with globes and Oriental carpets. A faux-label on the spine urges the user to "Write to Remember".
